On September 21, 2026, WuXi XDC held a release ceremony for its Singapore manufacturing site at the Tuas Biomedical Park in Singapore. As a cornerstone of WuXi XDC's commercial manufacturing network, the BCM3 antibody intermediate and conjugated drug substance dual-function production line and the DP4 facility, successfully achieved GMP release in August. This marks a significant step forward in WuXi XDC's global manufacturing expansion and another important milestone for the modular facility project jointly delivered by WuXi XDC and Pharmadule Morimatsu.

From Project Kick-off to GMP Release: Demonstrating the Speed of Modular Delivery
Spanning approximately 25,000 square meters, the WuXi XDC Singapore site integrates manufacturing capabilities for antibody intermediates, bioconjugate drug substances and drug products. With Singapore serving as a strategic hub, the site further strengthens WuXi XDC's end-to-end, one-stop bioconjugate manufacturing services for customers worldwide.
Behind this state-of-the-art manufacturing site is another successful application of Pharmadule Morimatsu's modular facility solutions in a large-scale international biopharmaceutical project. Modular construction commenced at Morimatsu's manufacturing facility in China in June 2024, followed by successful mechanical completion on site in Singapore in June 2025. The project then progressed into on-site commissioning and qualification, culminating in the GMP release of its core manufacturing facilities in August 2026.
The project's efficient execution demonstrates the advantages of modular construction in shortening on-site construction schedules, ensuring project quality and enhancing delivery certainty. It also reflects the close collaboration and strong execution of the project teams from both WuXi XDC and Pharmadule Morimatsu.

Building a Highly Integrated, State-of-the-Art Bioconjugate Manufacturing Facility
As a global specialist in modular facility solutions, Pharmadule Morimatsu provided WuXi XDC's Singapore site with a comprehensive EPC solution comprising hundreds of modules. The project encompasses production lines for antibody intermediates, bioconjugate drug substances and drug products, as well as functional areas including process science and technology laboratories, quality control, smart warehousing and utilities.
The facility also integrates advanced systems such as an isolator-based filling line, a fully automated material handling system and a digital production management system, supporting manufacturing needs ranging from small-scale clinical supply to commercial-scale production.
Sustainability was also an important consideration throughout the project.
